P&O Cruise - the best holiday you could ever have.

Hi everyone, I'm back...for my 40th Birthday, I asked my husband if we could go on a Cruise with our 2 girls instead of having a big birthday bash so, as soon as he agreed, I was on the phone to our friends at Forex Travel. They asked me questions like number of days/nights we wanted to be away, which islands we wanted to visit etc. Spoke to my husband about our options and we decided on the South Pacific P&O Cruise.

Wow, let me tell you, when you go on a cruise which goes for about 7 to 8 nights, that's when you can say you've really had a holiday. As most of you would know, after going on holidays a lot of times we feel that we need another one soon after to be able to just chill and relax.

When you choose to cruise, you can either do a lot of activities within the cruise ship or you can do nothing but relax. You are not forced to get up so early because you have a tour to go to. You can do everthing at your own pace.

During our cruise, we stopped over at the following ports. Noumea, Isle of Pines and Lifou. Wow! You'll be surprised at the stunning Islands such as Isle of Pines and Lifou. White-sand beaches, forests and lagoons just breathtaking.

There is never a dull moment in the ship, lots of entertainment, a few restaurants on board, kids clubs, spa, pools, casino, theatre, lounges, very friendly and helpful crew and lots more.

See the pictures we took and hope that this will get you to call Forex Travel on 8777-0060 to book your next holiday. Enjoy!!!

Port Macquarie NSW - Mothers Day Celebration

Greater Port Macquarie is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane on the North Coast of NSW, only 260km north of Newcastle, 420km from Sydney and 510km from Brisbane.

We went to Port Macquarie to celebrate Mothers Day this year (2014). On our way, we had breakfast at this really cute Café called "Art Café", they don't only serve food, they also have art classes. It's a really cool place. See some of the pictures we took....

From there we headed to our accommodation at the Flynns Beach Resort in Port Macquarie. We stayed at a 2 bedroom villa which had a lounge / kitchen and laundry facilities. The resort has 2 pools and lots of play area for the kids. Great recommendation by our friends at Forex Travel. Here are more pictures for you....

After a long day by the pool, we decided to head to the Jetty for some dinner (Thai food).

After that yummy dinner and a good night sleep, we headed to Bago Vineyards. They have the largest hedge maze in NSW. Sure enough, we were surprized at how big this maze was. The kids were excited to go and explore the hidden items and musical instruments concealed deep within the Bago Maze’s tangled pathways. See for yourself.

We headed back to our accommodation at Flynns Beach after a long day out with the family. Packed our bags and as soon as we checked out, we had breakfast and headed to our favourite Beach called "Old Bar" which is located twelve kilometres from the Pacific Highway and 15 minutes east of Taree.
This is like a hidden treasure. We've been to this beach twice before and everytime we go, there is not another person there. We call it our little secret beach. The kids can run around without us being worried that they will get lost in the crowd. We are now sharing our little secret with all of you....

Thank you to everyone at Forex Travel for organising and always giving us really great tips on beautiful places to go to. Stay tuned for more Travel and Food blogs on this site. Enjoy!!!
